The Lazy Moose RV Park is a beautiful campground located at Milepost 315 of the Richardson Highway near Salcha, Alaska. Campers can look forward to a number of nearby attractions including Harding-Birch Lakes, Healy Lake and the Chena River State Recreation Area. Wildlife, scenic and sunset viewing are popular at this campground, so if you love photographing nature, this is the perfect place! Amenities at the campground include full hookups, dump station, RV storage, picnic tables, fire pits, tent sites, as well as basic amenities like restrooms, showers and laundry facilities. 10% discount for former and current military members. We are open from the beginning of May until mid September, although this is subject to change. Call ahead for availability if you plan to arrive in Alaska before May 1st.
